CWCCH is recognized as a national specialized institution for premarital and preconceptional healthcare
Recently, CWCCH was recognized as one of the first national specialized institutions for premarital and preconceptional healthcare.
Established on March 8, 2002, Chengdu Women's Health Guidance Center set up the first women's health guidance center in the western region in collaboration with the WHO Center for Research and Training in Women's and Children's Health, embarking on a journey of providing life-cycle services for women.
This Center, relying on CWCCH's strong technical and service support, integrates medical treatment, health care, health promotion and health management into a one-stop comprehensive health care service model to safeguard women's health throughout the life cycle, covering high-quality, systematic and proactive maintenance and care for the stages of girlhood, adolescence, premarriage, progestation, postpartum, reproductive, menopause, and old age periods. The Center has established a well-rounded specialty management system for premarital healthcare, and continuously enhances scientific research in premarital healthcare. It also provides specialized training for premarital healthcare and meanwhile collaborates with women's and children's healthcare institutions across Chengdu to improve their overall service levels.
